Gee, could it be - and I know this is radical stuff - that the GOP isn’t pushing for a tax cut extension with pure political motives in mind? Could it be - gasp - that they actually think raising taxes during a recession is tantamount to economic suicide? You see Contessa, there’s this thing called economics. Read up and get back to us.

Fantastic quote from this piece:
Barack Obama in 2008 was a product of Facebook (the root of which is a members-only Ivy League network) and other Web sites. He was a one-man brand, and his central site was his main vehicle, built on top of the more decentralized sites and blogs of the nascent antiwar movement.
The Tea Party counterrevolution of 2010 is far more diffuse and fast-moving, a Twitter-based hive mind with no one central figure or campaign headquarters.

Good Lord, the msm is loving this one. True or false: felony embezzlement tends to destroy your credibility. Answer: true…unless you’re a GOP apostate accusing your party of racism. #journologic

A former Flordia GOP chair who siphoned hundreds of thousands of dollars from the party to his own consulting firm now accuses his former colleagues of racism. Nice. Stay classy.

Very good question. There was a day, remember, when Stewart mocked conservatives for their excesses. Now he mocks conservatives for being conservative.

Telling that the first sentence of this article is “Mao Zedong was right.” That’s really all you need to know.

Maybe now you’ll reevaluate your position on the issue, given you share that position with terrorist groups. They say you are the company you keep.
